Not Meant to Be

We’ve been contemplating whether we should proceed with the planned trip to Bali this December. In the beginning, our concern was only the H1N1 (what else is new?), then came the earth quake, and now this >

I guess Bali is just not meant to be. The first time we planned was way back when Mr. Hubs was working in Qatar – had to cancel because his scheduled trip home had to be delayed.

Sorry n.i., maybe next time huh? (eventhough I’ve sort of decided Bali won’t be in the list of future vacations anymore. haha.)

Hmm, I think I share the same sentiment i.e. crossing out Bali. I think we have many places to offer but I myself have yet to explore.

Do share with us of the hot spots and maybe I can put them in my to-do list when I go back next time. 🙂

My favourite kalau cuti-cuti Malaysia ni, definitely, Cherating. Along the way banyak tempat leh gi. A must stop is Temerloh, for Pak Usop ikan patin tempoyak. Pak Wan Sata & Otak-otak, Kerepok Cap Intan kat Kuala Kemaman (penuh rasa ikan), fresh seafood kat Kuala Kemaman, Nasi Kukus Ayam Berempah kat pekan Chukai (yg paling sedap I pernah makan so far ). Kedai Kopi Hai Peng for coffee and roti bakar ( their signature ). Should try ….

cherating does not include everybody! 😉

entahla diorg ni… carik pasal je!

    Ms B,
any reason why you cross out Bali? I need to explore so many local spots actually… will definitely recommend those I find worth going!

Avillion PD is great! But Guoman Thistle has just had major renovation works done and the place had good reviews too! Maybe can give both a try! 😉

Thanks for the tips! Going to Cherating mid October, so hope to be able to stopover those places. Went to Hai Peng for coffee the last time we were there, tapi Hai Peng tutup masa tu, so have yet to give it a try! 🙂

oh n|ns, for our honeymoon pun, we’re planning local destination… no overseas trip lah… 😉 we want to go to an island tapi sebab monsoon time kan, so, limited to west malaysia only…

i’ve always believed for honeymoon one should not spend so much time on the travelling bit. so yeah, local is the best! 😉
