The Start To A Week

July 14, 2009 at 3:40 pm 7 comments

Hmmmm… let’s see…

1. There’s the pissed couple.
2. There’s the thought that maybe one can never be left alone with them. Negative vibe, definitely.
3. There’s the telling off session with the office manager. (luckily there’s no salary review this year, or I’ll be one ticked off from the list)

Not a very good start to the week and my boy sensed it so much better than any others. This morning he asked me,

What’s wrong, Mama?

*sigh* How I wish some people would be as sensitive as you are, boy…

    Momster,

1 and 2 – can be avoided. Well, thats what I would do anyway. I avoid people with negative vibe as they tend to be contagious. As my friend always says, “we have enough negative minded people. why add more?”

3 – been there.πŸ™‚ sabar jer lah. but if you play your cards right, one day you can get even (I got mine).πŸ˜‰

    Imtiyaz tersangatlah adorable.

    Ms B,
Yeah negative people SHOULD be avoided, but sometimes just being around them makes you realize so many things! (which is good in a way ;))

No. 3 – I despise managers who tend to blame people instead of making things right!

Yeah, he can be sensitive when he wants to! Just the right dose to make me smile.πŸ™‚

that’s always the case… your kids will be able to detect your subtle mood changes…

in my case it’s kakak of course… anaqi.. will need to give him time… so he does empathize with his sister whenever he sees her in pain…

So true! It is amazing how they can sense your mood at such a young age. Imran would ask me “Are you upset, Mama?” Sometimes it melts my heart, but when it is his fault (i.e refuses afternoon nap, ‘accidents’ from potty training) I’ll get even more annoyed saying “Of course I’m upset!”

Hope you’re feeling better dear, and that tomorrow will be a start to a better week! XX

    shasha,
i think it’s great that they are sensitive like that, and hopefully it’ll stay that way forever kan?πŸ˜‰

i hope all is well with the potty training – the most trying training of them all! (reason why imtiyaz is still in diapers at night! :D)

Isn’t it normal to be on diapers at night until they’re quite a lot older? Yes – it requires lots of patience potty training, what will all the accidents! Especially when you have a tiny one always following her brother – it can be quite scary!
