Mother’s Day

Presented with a shy "Thank you, Mummy!"

Presented with a shy "Thank you, Mummy!"

I had an early celebration at Imtiyaz’s school this year. A medley of English, Malay & Chinese songs from the children and some games to play. The older children even had a cooking demo, and presented their parents with the food they prepared themselves.

Watching him with his friends, and excitedly pointing at me with a proud “that’s my mummy!” made me teary-eyed. And again, I wished he wouldn’t grow up too fast…

Enjoy the video, and to all mums, Happy Mother’s Day!

p.s. can you spot him?😉

    Ms B,
I almost laughed out loud in the office reading your comment😉

It’s a flower made of egg shell (which i accidentally poked the top part just a few mins after getting it, thinking it was made of sponge!)

yes, even i am teary-eyed. and after spotting him, even more! hopeless la us mommies. somehow seeing them all grown and independant interacting with friends makes us feel emotional!

imran presented me with a card and cookie that he made from school. but he was the one who ate most of the cookie! happy belated mothers day to you! xx

    Dura & Shasha,
Oh yes… I’ve never been the emotional type before – but the heart melts too easily with the boy!

And Imran finishing up most of the cookie, I really want Imtiyaz to have that kinda appetite you know, makes feeding so much easier!😉

    Nor,
His hairstyle is a disaster, but good thing it grows out very very fast, so it’s looking a l’il bit better now! Hope you are doing well with the two!
