Someone commented I put up too little photo of the holiday. It’s intentional, trust me – I’ve decided to not let the camera get in the way of me enjoying the company, or the scenery. A habit I decided to slip into, just last year.
I did what I had to do – let others do the snapping. So when it’s just him and me, there’s not much you can see!
That’s all folks!

The vacation was perfect – exactly what we needed.
With the free flow of food and drinks the whole 3 days stay, I was quite worried to gain back the pounds I’ve shed (vain, I know!), but I guess the activities offered by the resort kinda made up for it – a combo of rest & relax, but active holiday, I would say.
*Ehem* Weight gain of 400 grams is not too bad when on vacation, right? Haha. Am I obsessed or what?
Swimming, archery, golf, basketball, flying trapeze and some dance by the pool is enough to make one sweat a bucket under the hot sun. Not to mention getting several shades darker too! We even had a go at Blackjack when the theme was Casino & Cabaret on the first night (not real money of course!), and the performances by the GOs were simple, yet very entertaining.
But of course, being able to be idle by the beach would be rated the best in its category at anytime! *grins*

Vacation is what you take when you can’t take what you’ve been taking any longer.
Not entirely true, don’t you think?
Have a good week, and Happy Deepavali!

I haven’t mentioned that my youngest bro is down with H1N1. Which was why all plans for the weekend went a bit haywire, but yes, am glad he’s feeling much, much better now.
On a different note, there’s just so much to do these few weeks. Did I mention with all the open house invites, and the Hari Raya visits, we only managed to squeeze in time for laundry for 2 weekends already? The house is in desperate need of a good clean up now!
Career-wise, a lot to finish up and by month-end, the team from Norway would be coming down to give some intensive training. I can already foresee some serious brain action for us here, even now!
And then there’s the boy’s birthday party (he’s turning 4 and I’m choosing the exact same location as his 1st birthday party, for the conveniences – private party room, decor and games included, and food is readily accessible just in case we don’t order enough) And of course, no tidying up right after! Not much to do, but we do have to find time to get everything in place – Mr. Hubs would be away for several days next week, and this weekend both Mr. Hubs and I would be away on a much needed vacation (minus the kid, yes).
… and the vacation – nowhere too far. Just somewhere I’ve missed the week the boy was hospitalized last 2 months. Only this time, it’s so much better coz I’ve got Mr. Hubs alone with me – minus the team building activities! *grins*

@ Mr. Hubs' grandparents - Baling, Kedah
The mismatch of colour? I decided to put on the comfy cotton kurung irregardless of the colour because the weather was scorching hot! Besides, I’m not a fan of too matchy-matchy bajus either – colour clashes is so much better!
When one of the cousins asked me what’s our theme colour this year, I replied,
We don’t match, we only blend in.
Konon! Padahal tak blend in pun!
Imtiyaz was busy playing games on almost every handphone he can get his hands on, that we practically had to hold him tight to get this shot.
Journey back to kampung was not so smooth. Instead of the usual 3.5 hours to reach Penang, it took us around 6 hours this time. At one point, Imtiyaz needed the toilet and had to pee in a cut out chrysanthemum tea box. Hahaha.
We stopped by Kepala Batas to visit my grandmother and my mum and also paid a visit to my dad’s grave. After resting for several hours, it was another 2 hour journey to Baling. The ride was fun nevertheless. As long as its smooth, and you have great company, I’m sure any amount of travel is fun.
And of course, the end result is definitely worth the effort! *winks*
