Not Meant to Stay Home

I get bored too easily I’m already planning to go do threading in Bangsar later, and lunch with Mr. Hubs followed by a facial and some retail therapy tomorrow at KLCC. Heck, I even offered to send Mr. Hubs to office this morning! *sigh* I really need to learn to slow down eh? Funny thing I was almost in tears being all alone at home yesterday when mum took Imtiyaz to play with his cousins!

I guess when I think I’d like to be a stay-at-home-mum, I am really not up to it… yet!

p.s. I am recovering well just a little tired at times.

Hokey Pokey

view from the 4e3

I have been unwell since Sunday and when I thought I’m feeling better, I started coughing and the chest feeling urmmm… chesty!

Mr. Hubs insisted taking me to hospital and thanks to him, at least the pneumonia haven’t chance to worsen. Yes, PNEUMONIA!

Who would have thought?

And I’m hating the tests they had to do. My hands are all holey with the hokey pokey!

Grumpy me is saying it’s no fun updating blog with blackberry!

The First

PB301899

Tomorrow, the agent is bringing some people to view the house. Both Mr. Hubs and I can’t help feeling a bit melancholic since the day the agent called.

It must be true – whatever was your first will always be the hardest to let go.

But of course, we’re so looking forward to the second! :)

Impressed, I’m Not!

Some things just don’t interest or impress me. Specifically when one starts to talk about their life as if it’s the coolest, most happening thing that could happen to anyone. Specifically when one talks about going out with royalties, or excited about meeting VVIPs, or attending posh and glamorous parties, or getting a dress tailored by well-known designers.

If that’s the life you want, then go ahead. Sure, you can keep on telling me about it, but just don’t expect me to go WOW. I’m already grateful with the life I have, thank you very much.

And you know why it doesn’t impress me? Because my best friend in Primary 1 was a daughter to a VVIP. Because at Primary 4 I am friends with royalties of XXX and my after school activities include going to Istana XXX just to have fun. Because at the early of my teen years I got to go to Istana YYY upon invitation by the daughter – flight tickets paid for, escorted car, even entry to a neighbouring country for a shopping spree without passport (eventhough the spree is only at Toys r Us :D ).

Sorry, tak pasal-pasal dah poyo! I am already against my principles nih… hehehe…

And no, I’m not proud of it. I’m just glad with the exposure I’ve had, I am kept grounded all the time. I’ve seen the good and also the other side of what you think is great all the time.

Maybe because I have realistic people around me. People who don’t see glitz and glamour as something to be impressed about. People who live for themselves, not to impress others. People who live life as it is.

p.s. I’m sure 1 or 2 of my readers would recall the memories, including bergaduh with the royalty over a petty matter. Cute, huh? ;)
