A Taste of Norway
Exactly what the boss said while on his 4 days visit here. I am in the meeting room most of the time until Friday, which explains my lack of writing, and also on the messengers! *winks*

Wedding Bells
Besides The Bestie, as I’ve written here, another friend of mine is getting hitched end of next month, and the ceremony would take place in one of my favourite cities in Europe! Lucky, isn’t she?
To you,
I’m so happy that after all you’ve been through, soon, there’ll be someone there right beside you!
Andddd… this is what her flower girl chose to wear on the day. Love it! But of course, the girl’s always known to have chic taste, you know!

The Birth
Four years ago, a day before today, I was admitted early morning to the hospital to be induced at 38 weeks. I was anemic, so waiting for the baby to grow bigger was a bit of a risk (at least that’s what I thought).
The same day that day, was the death of Datin Seri Endon Mahmood (Pak Lah’s late wife), so the TV in the hospital room was flooded with the ceremony. Admittedly, I was feeling a bit uncomfortable watching news on someone’s death when I am expecting the birth of my first child.
I don’t quite remember how the sequence was, but I remembered the mild contraction at about 6pm. Silly me for thinking that was the strongest it could get, so I said if this is labour pain, I’m sure I can get through it without any pain killers!
I was wheeled into the labour room at about 9pm, only to be told that the birth might not be until early the next morning. Contraction was getting stronger and Mr. Hubs was obviously very panicky when he can’t do anything about it. Thinking I cannot possibly handle the pain until the next morning, I opted for epidural, and I didn’t regret it at all! The ease of pain is definitely worth it! Just when the drugs kicked in, the anaesthetist said to me, “now I can see your smile!”
Yeah right. If I were to smile and laugh when in pain, I’d be in a different ward already!

And so, the supposedly long wait was not too long at all. I didn’t have to wait another 10-12 hours as predicted.
Imtiyaz was born at 12:06, just past midnight – and he’ll remain our pride and joy for as long as we live, insyaAllah.
Happy 4th birthday, darling!

Cam-Whore? Cam-Slut? Cam-Bitch?
Someone commented I put up too little photo of the holiday. It’s intentional, trust me – I’ve decided to not let the camera get in the way of me enjoying the company, or the scenery. A habit I decided to slip into, just last year.
I did what I had to do – let others do the snapping. So when it’s just him and me, there’s not much you can see!
That’s all folks!
