Cousins Day Out
Thanks to my brother [Pixel Exposures], here are some lovely shots of the 3 boys at Lake Garden yesterday.

Despite loving each others' company, boys will always be boys! ... and he is an easy target because he sulks oh-so-easily!

Award received from n.i., Ms B and Memey Anuar. Since the other 2 are families, I’ll write about Ms B ok? n.i. and Memey Anuar, jangan marah! Hehe.
The rules:
Nyatakan 5 fakta menarik tentang pemberi award ini : Ms B
1. Someone whom I’ve never thought I’d be close friends with. ![]()
2. A yummy mummy with an adorable daughter.
3. She writes very meaningful entries, complete with hidden meanings – sometimes I need to clarify with her what she actually meant! ![]()
4. Both of us somewhat share the same views on stuffs, eventhough it’s as simple as why would one need to purchase a designer handbag like every week?! *lol* (unless, of course, they have unlimited disposable income…
)
5. She values her privacy, be it the real world, or the WWW.
p.s. Alamak!
1. Di usia 30-an baru saya mula bersenam sekerapnya.
6. Suka makan nestum. Bukan cair seperti air, tapi pekat macam baby makan! Hanya nestum dan sedikit gula – tanpa susu.
7. Pernah bertukar kerja sebanyak 7 kali (Malaysia dan luar negara), bermula tahun 2000 hingga sekarang.
)
6. mummy-o – supaya boleh update blog lebih kerap! Haha.
7. miss-cream – sama seperti no. 6 ![]()

The New Age

So I added another 1 to the number yesterday, gracefully! It has been a blessed 31 years, with considerate amount of ups and downs to make me appreciate life, and the people around me, more.
If life had been too easy, some things would be left unappreciated, I’m sure.
If life had been too hard, I might be guilty of putting the blame and leashing out anger and frustration to people who don’t deserve it, including my own self.
Lets just say, the balanced lessons I’ve had in life successfully taught me to appreciate what I already have, instead of what I don’t have.
Thanks for the birthday wish, dear family & friends!

p.s. Just to share a wonderful forwarded email I received today, which I’m sure most of us are guilty of.
A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old university professor. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life. Offering his guests coffee, the professor went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite – telling them to help themselves to hot coffee.
When all the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the professor said: ‘If you noticed, all the nice looking expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is but normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress. What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the best cups and were eyeing each others cups.
Now, if life is coffee, then the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life, but the quality of Life doesn’t change. Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee in it.’ Don’t let the cups drive you.. Enjoy the coffee instead.“The happiest people don’t have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.”

The Mall Name
The other day, when asked names of family members, Imtiyaz got most of it correct. Except one.
What’s Tok Ibu’s name?
Wan… urmmm… Wan Utama!
Window shopped too much, perhaps?!

Mother’s Day

Presented with a shy "Thank you, Mummy!"
I had an early celebration at Imtiyaz’s school this year. A medley of English, Malay & Chinese songs from the children and some games to play. The older children even had a cooking demo, and presented their parents with the food they prepared themselves.
Watching him with his friends, and excitedly pointing at me with a proud “that’s my mummy!” made me teary-eyed. And again, I wished he wouldn’t grow up too fast…
Enjoy the video, and to all mums, Happy Mother’s Day!
p.s. can you spot him?
