Low

To make me feel better,

1. I’ve had a long chat with my best friend, whom I do not see too often. Thank you J, for listening. And for making me laugh, and cry.

2. I’ll need that long walk – alone.

3. I hope God heard me this morning, and now.

Do not ask me why, because I don’t reveal. Hope everyone’s having a hell lot of a better day than me!

Have a nice weekend!

Vocab of His Own

Last week, at mom’s house, while going down the stairs, Imtiyaz heard mom reciting the Quran further down at the living area. And this is what he said :

Mama, Siti soyat, and read the soyat book!

Translation : Mama, Siti solat, and read the solat book!

Solat book is a newly created word by him for the holy Quran. As much as I find it amusing, at least he managed to convey the message effectively to me then! :)

Modest Pick Up Line

You have the ability to turn me breathless once in a while…

Good for my self-esteem to hear this once in a while too, especially on a gloomy Friday morning like this! ;)

The Way He Was

I am glad i didn’t postpone the visit last weekend, as I did the previous week. Because this morning, just 2 days after the visit, Mom told me he passed away peacefully.

Remember I wrote about Dad’s old friend who had the patience almost like a saint? Well to me at least. Who always managed to joke about his illness, while I would always wince in pain even for a small cut on my finger.

He’s the one.

Hubster said he learnt something new every time we pay him a visit. Patience was one of them.

And last 2 days, he had difficulty telling him wife something. He was very ill, can’t sit up, can’t speak, and was on the oxygen most of the time. After several attempts, the wife guessed,

Nak amek wudhu’?

And he nodded.

He puts me (and maybe most of us) to shame, really.
